Jiaxuan
Ikan Bilis

だから、we have to soak it to make a soup base like the way you do it for the miso soup. Oh, typing in Japanese is so difficult for me. (^.^)

Hiya,

Thanks for an excellent read :) The bit I read through so far was very informative and light-hearted - I've had a few good laughs so far.

Keep it coming - I'll be paying close attention.

Also - I run a blog of my own (anime-related) - would you mind if I linked to your blog - I don't expect a link in return - but I think my readers would love your blog as well.

I like this page. For me it is very interesting to read and it also helps to understand more some Japanese goods, food, etc.
I visited my friend in Kyoto in November 2008 and enjoyed it very much. By the way, now I know that I was Japanese woman in the past.
Well, my friend cooked miso soup and used this small fishes also - Niboshi and Chirimenjako. And she throw away it also.
Want to know more about Japanese cooking!
Thanks for some easy-to-cook recipes for europeans!

Dear Miko!
Thank You very much for the story.
You gave me "Warm-hearted" feeling.
I love Japan, and japanese culture.
And I did not understood before what exactly I like so much in japanese people. You helped me to understand it. It is they way of thinking...
I think you should be a writer of some creative worker , having this talent of describing things, and creating warm feelings in reader.

Thank you

Your Japanese is good♪
Please come again★

Your blog is very informative on the culture and language of Japan! I'm happy to have found it and will continue watching it! =D

On the funny side, I didn't know they were called dried baby sardines. I just called it 银鱼 and simply loved eating it. It's kinda weird that I'll actually discover its real name and background on a Japanese site.

Miko-san,

I like the very simple narrative which you follow.
Your blog makes an excellent read and helps me understand Japan, its people and its culture in greater depth.

Have lived in Japan and enjoyed every bit of it.

Miko-san no blog-wa hontou ni omishiroi desu!
