It is the Girl's Festival (MOMO NO SEKKU)
on March 3. It is a day of "HINAMATSURI (Doll's Festival)" that wishes the girl's healthy growth

is a hina-doll (HINANINNGYOU) displaying in the living room of my home
now. At the home where the girl
is, such "HINANINGYOU" (hina-doll) is displayed. My mother bought this doll, when I was born
.WATASHI NO OKAASAN GA, WATASHI GA UMARETA TOKI NI KATTA MONO DESU.
There are many kinds of hina- doll, each doll wears different kimonos and has different faces.
I like gentle atmospheres of this hina-doll (OHINASAMA or HINANINNGYOU)
.
Please take a look at the face
of the doll.
NINGYOU NO KAO WO YOKU MITE KUDASAI.
When I was small, if I see the face of this hina-doll,
I was always thinking "what an ugly face!(NANTE BUSAIKU NANDAROU...)
"
Especially (TOKUNI) the woman, her face is so white, and the cheeks are chubby
(FUKKURA).
The eyes are long and narrow (KIRENAGA) and she has the Betty Boop mouth
.
(We say OCHOBO GUCHI in Japanese.)
But it was said that such a face was 
beautiful(UTSUKUSHII) in old days.
It would be the noble princess (KIZOKU NO OHIMESAMA
),
who was able to consume
a caloric meal 
without doing farm labor
(NORA SHIGOTO), so that she was able to maintain white skin in the times when
there were not sunscreen and foundation.
This face may have been an object of adoration(AKOGARE NO MATO)
as a symbol of the wealth of those days.
To a hina-doll, "HISHIMOCHI (diamond-shaped rice cake)" will also be decorated.HISHIMOCHI WO KAZARIMASU.
"HISHI" is a "HISHI-GATA (diamond shape)".
This is a candy lasting for a long time.
HIMOCHI GA SURU SATOU GASHI DESU.
There are various things by each area.
CHIIKI NI YOTTE IROIRO ARIMASU.
A bottom is green(MIDORI), and white(SHIRO) in the middle, pink(PINKU) on the top of it.
It has the meaning, the green grass
begins to sprout on the earth covered with snow
, and the flower
of the early spring will bloom on the earth of the thaw.
When I was writing this blog
, a chime of a house sounded ding-dong
(PINGPONG).The lady in a house next door gave me a ↑ NANOHANA (rape blossoms) which she picked.
"Because it is the OHINASAMA (Dolls' Festival), please display it(KAZATTE CHOUDAI)."
she said, and smiled a little in embarrassment (TEREWARAI)
.
After all this season, all the women become full of nice feelings
.
JOSEI HA MINNA URESHII KIMOCHI NI NARIMASU

The color of the NANOHANA (rape blossoms) is bright as having turned on a light
.
And the room is filled with fragrance of the rape blossoms.
TOTEMO II KAORI 
DESU.
The neighboring girls (KINJO NO ONNANOKOTACHI) came over, too. A hina-doll should be displayed in their house
, too.Because it is a woman even though is a child.
They have begun to evaluate the hina- doll of my home at once
. Wow!! SUGOI!!
A daughter of my 4 years old put the mascot which she got with a giveaway
(it is not a HINANINGYOU doll), and made a gold folding screen (KINBYOUBU)
of Origami displayed behind them and made small HINA-KAZARI (display for Girl's festival)!
In Hamamatsu, the highest temperature is 17℃(about 62°F),
and lowest temperature is 9℃(about 48°F) now.
The morning and evening are still cold. MADA SUKOSHI SAMUI DESU
.
But the flower of the early spring has begun to bloom in the garden.
Because it is the Girl's Festival (MOMONO SEKKU), it is already spring. HARU DESU.
In Japan with the four seasons, when I looked around incidentally,
there is a moment to feel the change of the season suddenly.
When I noticed it, I feel very happy. SONNA TOKI HA, TOTTEMO SHIAWASE DESU.
