But, it's going to be ok (DAIJOUBUgood), you can deal it, if you notice it immediately.
It's not good to leave the symptom, like my childhood.

Hayfever is common here as well :(

I never had a problem as a child - but we live near a refinery, so I started getting it in high-school - and I have it continiously now.

I'm fine as long as I take my medicine in the morning - if I forget, I have a bad day :P

Suggestion for hay fever.
Even this is not widely known in USA.
The use of a Neti Pot....which flushes a saline solution through the sinus (nose).
If you want more info on this..let me know.

Hello there!
I'm sorry for your hayfever, my husband also got it when Spring begins, and even in Summer sometimes. We live in Portugal,I had already made a comment in your blog, but I don«t know if you had receive it at all. Have you ever try other kind of medicine, like herbal stuff?
Do you ever heard of PROPOLIS or ECHINACEA?
May be you should try!
Kind Regards
Margarida

Hi Miko,
I hope you and your daughter are doing well, despite the hay fever...
To answer your question from the first paragraph, yes we do have hay fever in our country (Poland) but the season for it lasts for the whole spring and half of summer. There are so many allergens, and pollens, causing it that I couldn't even count them. I myself am one of those lucky who have never had it (and hope not to have it :) ). And there are no masks or such soft tissues here. I wish we had such moisturising tissues in my country!! :)))

All the best and get well soon!!
Olga

Aloha.I so much enjoy reading your blog and sharing
the culture of your beautiful country. Now is a time of rebirth and Japan hero and real life Samurai Ichiro-san symbolizes the spirit and pride that has been missing from Japan culture. Now is time to slow down and appreciate the earth, children and eat organic food. Now what is old is what is new. It is all good.
