The rainy season has end and the hot summer is coming(ATSUI NATSU GA YATTEKIMASHITA).
Japan is the country which is slim in the north and south, the average temperature(HEIKIN KION) is various in each place,
Hamamatsu is around the middle of the Japanese Islands,
Daily life from 30 degrees to around 35 degrees continues.
And also ithe humidity is high(SHITSUDO MO TAKAIDESU)
In Japan from old days, When it was summer, a device to let wind go through in the home while shutting out the positive has been done.

In summer,There are A bamboo blind(SUDARE), reed blind(YOSHIZU) and mat(GOZA) in DIY shop.
They are made of straw and bamboo is all natural.

A constant seller goods of summer(NATSU NO TEIBAN AITEMU) of japan...they are tatami mat and bamboo blind(TATAMI and SUDARE),aren't they?!

A tatami mat(TATAMI) is made of rush is weaven.

I am smooth and am comfortable,

Anyway,I 'm wonder if how someone bring up a baby is four pairs of walks.

Another item "a bamboo blind"is as below photo.

The thing which broke bamboo thin is knit. 
While shutting out the sunlight,
When I pull a string
I maintain wind.

This bamboo blind is put at the inside of the room.
but at the outside is also available.
In the case of my house,we set up a net outside a window every year in summer,
I let the plant of the climbing nature rise and make green keeping off the sun light.

The green is fresh and heart is healed(KOKORO GA IYASAREMASU) I just have a looking.

Not only a heart is healed, really,
but also getting lower the surface temperature of the building, and water evaporating from a leaf brings the cool.
It seems that the temperature of the room falls approximately 5 degrees than the state that nothing does,
Places to take in at school increased recently.

Furthermore, to this green curtain has the nice by-product.
There will become the private vegetable garden if I plant the seedling of the vegetables of the climbing nature! !

I have a fun to watch the plant is growing up day by day.
I think that everyday is happy that prefer the one that I devise this and that to spend summer coolly.

About 3 months ago, I knew of "mini railways" in the forest in Hamamatsu city.
The every first Sunday per a month, fans of railways gather and they take kids to ride the mini railways.
We go there every time KAYOTTE IMASU since we knew that.
'Cause the trains surprisingly resemble real one!

There is the open place like that when we get out from a footpath in the forest.
I was surprised (ODOROKI MASHITA) at the first time when I found out there.

The rails are small, but even these are small, these completely resemble the real rails.(HONMONO TO SOKKURI).
A few rails such as the outer tracks and the inner tracks intersect in some places.

For example, the trains like this run.
It moves by the battery.
When we ride the back of the seat, we can feel the sound and vibration as if we get on the real train.

A man is running the train.(OJISAN GA UNTENCHU).
This train may be his.

This is the most popular one, steam locomotive.
It put out the steam, and let's go!(SHUPPATSU SHINKOU)!
The sound and smell are very real.
The design is also cool.KAKKOII.

The real point is not only the design, in fact, it runs by the power of steam.
We cannot enjoy riding until it burns many coals and it has enough pressure to run.
Even such small steam locomotive need these preparation, so the real locomotive would burns (MOYASUNO DESUNE) great amount of coals(SEKITAN).

In Hamamatsu, there is a big garage for fixing the shinkansen.
Maybe the ex-workers of railway companies also gather.
Anyway, we ride these for free.
I think everyone proudly bring their railways and make kids fun.

We wait our time to play peacefully and let kids ride the trains and the locomotives that they want to do.

If the railways runs like cutting the wind, (KAZE WO KITTE HASHIRU) , there are the devices such as tonnels and iron bridges.

The yellow train in the right side of this photo is Dr.yellow that runs with checking the rail for shinkansen.
The real Dr.yellow is popular (NINKI GA ARINASU) among kids.

This is the place for whistle.
Sometimes these men sound the really big whistle (KITEKI WO NARASHIMASU) by accumulating the steam.
They are laughing, but our hearts will stop!(SHINZOU GA TOMARISOU NI NARIMASU)!

Oh, it was very excited.OMOSHIROKATTA.
I also ride these about 3 times.
It is enjoyable also for adults.
We will go next month, too! MATA RAIGETSU MO IKUZO!

I bought goldfishes yesterday.
KINGYO WO KATTE KIMASHITA.
I put them in a pond after let them become accustomed the new water for a while.
IKE NI HANATTE OKIMASHITA.
Everyone was swimming actively when I look them this morning.
MINNA GENKI NI OYOIDE IMASU.

What I bought are WAKIN, the cheapest and tiny kind of goldfishes.
The price is 15 yen per a fish.
I bought 10 goldfishes.
WATASHI WA JUPPIKI KAIMASHITA.

They are sold cheaply because they might not be selected when the seller choose goldfishes which are dealt by high price as pets.

WAKIN are also used for "Goldfish scooping" KINGYO-SUKUI game which is the typical stall in Japanese summer festival.
In KINGYO-SUKUI, we try to get many goldfishes until the breaking of  POI.

YABURERU MADE KINGYO WO SUKUU which is paper net for KINGYO-SUKUI.

The white fish next a goldfish is Japanese killifish.(MEDAKA).
Japanese killifishes used to be every ponds and rivers in old time, but now they have been rare by the changing of environment.

So I also bought it at a pet shop.

This is a fish counter at a pet booth in DIY store.
The shop staff put goldfishes that I bought inside vinyl bag.

In summer, many kind of goldfishes are sold there.
Goldfishes are the image of summer in Japan!

By the way!
I wrote that "My pond" just now, "pond" is just the name of place that my family call.
It is actually・・・how  can i say・・・?

My husband made this one that is adapt to a barrel of Japanese whisky manufacturer.
KAIZOU SHITE TSUKURI MASHITA.
The water of the pond circulates by the pump for water tank for aquarium inside the barrel.

He said that he wants the sound of flow of water when he and I make this garden.
But our garden is too small to make brook for brooklet, so we made the compact water flow like this.
When we open the window, we can hear the sound of water flow (MIZU NO NAGARERU OTO GA KIKOEMASU) even we are inside.
I feel that is cool and fresh in summer.
If there is not the sound of water flow and song by birds  in my garden...I would miss these...

I planted the pond lilies SUIREN WO UEMASHITA in the pond as the hidden house of goldfishes.
when I try to take pictures, they hide soon behind (KAKURETE SHIMAIMASU) the leaves of pond lilies.

Speaking of pond lilies, the painter Monet in France

made the pond in his garden(TEIEN NI IKE WO TSUKURIMASHITA) ,

build the Japanese bridge is called to TAIKOBASHI(HASHI WO KAKEMASHITA) and made bloom the pond lilies on the pondHANAWO SAKASE MASHITA).
As you know, he drew many pictures of this.

In fact, there is a garden that embodies Monet's garden in a park which theme is various gardens in Hamamatsu.
In the pond in that garden, the pond lilies which stock is divided from Monet's garden are blooming.

By the way, the other day when I wrote about green tea, it had the big response.
You can buy the first Japanese green tea of the season NIHON NO SHINCHA WO KAUKOTOGA DEKIMASU through this web site, in the left side of it.
This is made in Kagoshima where is the 2nd most famous area for green tea folloing Shizuoka, and it is made from tea leaves that was harvested only from the middle to the end of April.

Hello miko, I love poterries, too.

I have a lot of poterry plates, but the pictures of Japanese poterry plates are beautiful.
(NIHON NO OSARA NO E HA UTSUKUSHII DESU).
I think non Japanese people can't draw like this.
(MANE DEKINAI DESU).
By the way, there is Limoges which is the town of poterry (TOUKI NO MACHI) near my town just like miko's town is near Seto city.
Seto city and Limoges are sister cities, did you know?

The plate of Limoges is also expensive, so I enjoy it by buyimg cheaper one which was missing drawing,

Oribe ware is also expensiveness here, but I have several because I like it.
I buy couple of plates every time (KANARAZU SUUMAI KAIMASU) when I go to Japan.
I felt that It is great.(TOTEMO KANDOUTEKI DESHITA) about the plate that your daughter drawn.
It is very cute picture.

(Many people praised my daughter's plate that she will be pleased when she grow up and look this.
I said my Japanese friend that my daughter couldn't draw picture well because I drafted with pencil. Then my friend advised me that you'd better choice just abstract one like circles or lines rather than picture.
Kids make just circles or lines original, and it is kind of art!)
