I went to the " Hamamatsu International Mosaiculture 2009" .
To tell the truth, I got many comments from reader of this blog which was like " Don't you go to see the Mosaiculture?".
I'm interested in this show because of I like plants. But I don't have any specific chance to visit this show. Finally, I visited here with my family at the end of this show. ( It will open until 23 november)
This show open at "Flower Park" in Hamamatsu-shi. This park built long time ago, and huge park. 91works are on display in the park.
The first picture, this work is displaied near by entrance which is made by Hamamatsu-shi. Huge work, 7 meters high, it related to instrument.
Mosaiculture is new art that is mixed with art(like painting, sculpture) and technique of landscape gardening. They plant live flowers on the surface of metal frame by design.
Most of plants is a fleshy plant. Because of they are strong for dry. Of course, they will grow up slowly during a show. Threfore, color and form will become changes also.
The turtle's work is presented by the Gabonese Republic in Africa. When you look this work closer, you can understand how they uses various plants very well!
International Mosaiculture started at 1998, Montreal. And then, It is showing once a three years at all over the world.
Many works collected by all over the world in this time too.
This is the work which got the first prize!
The title is " Man planted the tree". It is presented by Montreal. Awesome work!
The man is shepherd. He plant the tree alone, Horses and sheeps are exists like in real.
They harmonizes with the man perfectly. The space is the biggest in this show. It is 2,800㎡
, the man is 5meters high.
A flock of sheep next to the man.
Can you see their plump hair? It looks like in real. I can feel very much their life, because of made by real plants.
This kind of warm feeling is the fantastic point of Mosaiculture. So much difference from sculpture.
Well, I 'll introduce some of my favorite works from now on.
At first, this work is presented by Fukuroi-shi near by Hamamatsu-shi.
This work looks have a real life, so cute!
I wish I could see this Mosaiculture were in the park near by my house!
Next work is presented by Geneva, Switzerland. Geneva is popular city as a clocks.
This clock works very well. ↓
This work is presented by Makinohara-shi near by Hamamatsu-shi.↓
Fujisan-Shizuoka airport opened in these days at Makinohara-shi. They express the beauty of Mt.Fuji, green tea field and airplane.
This work is presented by Sakai-shi, Osaka. ↓
As you can see the figure of people, this is gigantic work! This work also covered by plants (not stone or concrete) , I can feel kind of real life in this work, and seems start moving!
Coincidence, this work is also presented by Shizuoka prefecture. ↓
Shizuoka prefecture announced about this show from few years ago. That why, They may have made this wonderful work. This is the scenery that is sun set casted a beautiful red light on the Mt. Fuji. This one is also big and illuminate at the night time.
How was the Mosaiculture world? This is the first time I knew about Mosaiculture.
When They held first show at Motreal, They hold up " create new culture" and " peace of the world" as an ideal.
In really, I could see gentle and strongness with their art.
I enjoy to see the art came from all over the world with feeling plant's gentle and powerful atmosphere.
