we usually have hot summer as well in my region of our country. Temperature can hit 36-38 degree. So every one wants to have air conditioner in his house(since fan is completely useless if temperature is about 35+) But conditioner cost about the same may be even less than your prices. For example panasonic with inverter technology (which considered to be innovative and is more costly at least here)it cost about 67k yen(model №9 if you know what i mean).
